Mayadevi Herself is Bound by Nitai’s Love

Nitaisevika dasi's Nitai Outpour

Maya devi can no longer attack anyone who is engaged in Nitai bhajan, because she herself becomes senseless upon remembering His mercy.

Nitai’s mercy is such that even Maya devi goes mad and starts to cry remembering it. Because Nitai is the only Lord in this existence who has fulfilled her most cherished desire. Maya devi is ultimately a maha vaishnavi and she internally always desires to serve the Lord and His devotees favorably. But due to Gaur Krishna entrusting her with this task of taking the fallen souls away from Him, she has no scope to quench her true thirst of serving Him. She also desires to assist in spreading the Lord’s glories, but instead she is given the task of hiding the Lord. Like in Navadvipa Dham Mahatmya, Gauranga had ordered Maya to cover all the scriptures describing His glories. Although it pains her heart to do this…

Nitai Bhakti Pleases Gaur the Most

Nitaisevika dasi's Nitai Outpour

Nitai! What is wrong if one is a Nitaivadi and has immense love for Gaurhari? If one is Gaurvadi and loves Nitai then that is considered „genuine bhakti“ but one cannot be a Nitaivadi and still claim to love Gaur? Is this not ardha kukkutti nyaya? Is loving Nitai because He has given us Gaur, out of our eternal gratefulness a crime? Being a Nitaivadi does mean to neglect Gauranga Krishna, it means to accept Him wholeheartedly through Nityananda, because we understand that without Nitaiii it is absolutely impossible for us to have any connection with Gauranga. We serve Gauranga in every way possible knowing in our hearts that this was possible due to Nitai’s empowerment, and this service is His loving gift. There is no service greater than the service of Gaur Radha Krishna. That is the perfection and summum bonum of all service and we are eternally obliged…

Nitai’s Deep Connection with Radharani Part 1

Nitaisevika dasi's Nitai Outpour

Many devotees undermine the importance of taking shelter of Nitai before approaching Radha Krishna by claiming that Nitai is situated in sakhya rasa, as Baladev, so He cannot perform the function of giving one Radha Krishna in madhurya rasa. This conception is completely erroneous and detrimental to the path of our devotional service. This is one of the prime causes why Kaliyuga has been able to establish its firm influence. This exactly why even after executing devotional service for millions upon millions of lifetimes, no one is able to reach
the stage of spontaneous devotion to Radha Govinda which the shastras claim as Ragamarg. It is due to this very reason that no one
is able to attain prema even after performing rigorous sadhana.

Nityananda Prabhu’s role in giving us Radharani’s shelter is extremely
crucial and unnegligible.

Radharani is the instructor of all those souls situated in madhurya
rasa, and…

Nitai’s Deep Connection with Radharani Part 2

Nitaisevika dasi's Nitai Outpour

Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur Prabhupada writes in the Harmonist that:

„Srimati Radhika is the guru of the inner circle of the servants of Krishna. Srimati Radharani however accepts the offering of service of only those souls who are especially favored by Nityananda and are deemed by Him to be fit for Her service. There is therefore a most intimate relationship between the function of Nityananda and that of Srimati Radharani.“

It is also important to note that Nitai’s complexion in Kaliyuga is bright molten gold, rakta gaura kalevarah, just like His brother Gaurhari who has come to distribute Radha prem. Gauranga has accepted two things, radha bhava kanti dui angikara kari’, Radha’s bhava (mood) and Radha’s kanti (complexion). In the same way, Nitaichand who is completely enveloped in Gaur bhava and constantly sporting in Gaura prema rasarnava, the ocean of loving mellows of Gauranga, has accepted the complexion of Gaurhari…

The Test Of Unconditional Love

Nitaisevika dasi's Nitai Outpour

The only way to truly test if someone is factually ours is to measure their level of concern, loyalty and support for us during adversity; when we are suffering through serious tribulations. One who is truly ours, their love for us will only increase when we are in unfavorable situations, due to their affection. A mother feels more love for her child when she sees them in difficulty, thus making her maternal affection overflow even more.

The nature of Nitai’s love for the fallen souls is exactly like this, in fact, way beyond. While the other forms of Godhead move farther away from us as we glide down, Nitai’s love only increases seeing our misery. Doyara Thakur Nitai para dukha jane. He is the most merciful Lord because He understands the pain of others. This is why Vrindavan das Thakur sings: Nitai amar doyara avadhi. Nitai AMAR. Nitai is ours…

Important discussion on Nitai and Radha

Nitailekhan for Perfection in Krishna Consciousness

If somebody asks you, “Who is the topmost devotee of Krishna?” What shall be your response? If you say Nitai is the topmost then he may ask, “What about Radharani?” And if you say Radha is the topmost then he may ask, “What about Nitai?” Is it not confusing? Numerous times we have heard that there is no greater devotee of Krishna than Radha and the same we have heard about Nitai innumerable times. It indeed a very mysterious question. Let us understand the relationship between Nitai-Krishna and Radha-Krishna in greater detail to demystify the question at hand.

Nitai is the existential potency (sandhini) of Krishna and is also the first manifestation of the vaibhava feature of Krishna. Thus, He falls in the Vishnu Tattva category and assumes the role of the Supreme Personality of Godhead as Krishna’s elder brother. On the other hand, Radha is the pleasure potency (hladini)…

Mystery Behind Nitai’s Golden Complexion

Nitailekhan for Perfection in Krishna Consciousness

Gauranga Mahaprabhu is the combined form of Radha and Krishna. He is Krishna from inside and He has covered Himself with the mood and golden complexion of Shrimati Radhika („antar krsna bahir gaura“). Krishna is Nyaydheesh (Lord of Justice) but Gaur is Kripadheesh (Lord of Mercy). This transformation in Krishna’s nature is taking place because of Radha’s merciful mood which wraps Krishna. But in the Pastimes of Gaur we find that He did act as Nyaydheesh many times. So we can see that although He was covered by the mood of Ashraya Vigraha, Radha, He was sometimes not able to control His inner mood of Godhood as Vishaya Vigraha, Krishna. He was sometimes acting as the topmost devotee and sometimes as the topmost Lord. It is quite interesting to note that even Nitai had a golden complexion just like that of Gaur.

Why Shrila Prabhupad did not introduce Nitai Vayulekhan?

Nitailekhan for Perfection in Krishna Consciousness

Many devotees have asked us that if Nitai Bhajan and Nitai Vayulekhan are so powerful and essential then why Shrila Prabhupad or any other previous Acharya did not introduce them?

Our response goes like this:

  1. So many practices and modifications have been introduced in our Paramapara in the past so many centuries. They cannot be termed as deviations because they were necessary as per the time, place, and circumstances. A modification or new practice which has no prior scriptural theory can only be termed as a deviation. Something which is already theoretically mentioned can be implemented anytime. There is so much theory regarding Nitai Bhajan in the books of our Acharyas that nobody can question its authenticity. If you question the authenticity of Nitai Bhajan then you are actually showing that you have no faith in the Vani (Teachings) of our Guru Paramapara.
  2. One Acharya need not necessarily establish each…

Nitai Vayulekhan is a CelebrationFor the Soul!

Nitailekhan for Perfection in Krishna Consciousness

If you know the unique position of Nitai then you are indeed very fortunate. In fact, you are one of the most fortunate persons of this entire creation. Those who have huge bank balances, uncountable assets, an extremely beautiful spouse, high level of education, and the most loving family, are indeed fortunate. But their fortune stands nowhere in front of a person who simply knows Nitai. You don’t know how many lives of sukriti is required to simply become aware of Nitai. You must celebrate this fact daily that out of great good fortune you have come to the platform of worshipping Nitai as God. Yes this is such a special achievement that you can celebrate it daily till the end of your life.
Nitai Vayulekhan is a kind of celebration for the soul as finally its search for the best God in the entire creation is over. We raise…

The Supreme Personality of Unconditional Compassion

Nitailekhan for Perfection in Krishna Consciousness

The rarest love of Golok, which was never given to anyone even upon asking for multiple lives, was distributed freely to the most fallen by Nitai, even without asking for it. This love of Golok was unattainable for even the most exalted personalities of this universe before the advent of Nitai. All logic failed during the deliverance pastimes of Nitai. Be it the children, or be it the ruffians, or be it anyone, all got love at the hands of Nitai. Nobody was left out. There was no discrimination. The nectar of immortality which emerged from Samudra Manthan was only given to the Devas and not the Asuras by the Mohini incarnation, but the nectar of pure love which emerged from the streams of Nitai’s tears was sprinkled on one and all without any discrimination. When the Supreme God of Mercy (Nitai) distributed the highest love in the creation, then…
